I've been using airbnb a long time in many countries, and this place is one of my favorite. Feels like a cozy but comfortable home and not like a cold hotel room. The hosts have certainly paid attention to many details to help make the stay easy and convenient. Good for short or long stays.

Sonnia is so helpful and kind. Nice place for stay and relax. She prepared some foods for us. (Bread, jam, milk, tea etc.) If we have a chance to stay there again, we would love too.

The suite is clean and well prepared with host's kind consideration. It's a good choice if you plan to walk around nearby area for days. It's very convenient enjoying hot spring bath in the suite.

I had the most wonderful stay here, and would recommend it to anyone. The place is very comfortable and very clean, with everything you need to feel at home straight away - I did not need to get anything for the house, they have everything. The building is quiet and secure and the building warden is friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful - with amazing scenery. Waking up to the mountains and the hot spring stream outside everyday was a treat.
It was perfect for my trip, it was more peaceful than downtown Taipei, but with easy access to the city via MRT or if after midnight a taxi would cost no more than 450 ntd. I even cycled home on a youbike one night from Shilin (about 45 mins) but would recommend this only for proficient cyclists. One of the reasons I chose here was to have easy access to Yangmingshan national park via a bus at the end of the road and I spent many happy days hiking in the mountains meeting buffalo’s, seeing the steam in fumaroles and breathing the clean air.
Several food and convenience stores located within walking distance 24/7 and lots more affordable restaurants during regular hours. The sulphur bath is very luxurious and I regularly enjoyed using it. And visiting the nearby thermal valley where the water comes from. Sonnia and Elsa made sure I was comfortable and in my opinion went above and beyond to make my trip comfortable and enjoyable. Many thanks to you both it was an absolute pleasure and I look forward to coming to stay again.

We had the most amazing time staying in Sonnia’s apartment. The location was perfect, the unit had everything we needed, the hot tub was well used, and what made it really special was the support Sonnia and her sister Elsa gave us for everything we asked and things we didn’t know we needed too: translation support, help with the luggage up the stairs, took us to the airport train when we left, beautiful chopped fruit waiting when we arrived. So much! Best support I’ve ever had from Airbnb hosts!! Thank you so much.

Sonnia and her sister Elsa, who took care of the unit and me during Sonnia's travel, are great hosts. They went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. Wish all AirBnB hosts are like them.
